Aruba’s Tax Department announced that 2017 tax returns are now available for collection.
Taxpayers can pick up a tax return package, which includes returns for payroll tax, tourist levy, gaming tax, tourist and environmental levy, and car/ motorcycle rental tax.
Tax packages must be picked up in person from the island’s tax office and taxpayers must provide their personnel number. Tax consultants must present an authorization letter from their clients to obtain a tax package.
Aruba’s Tax Department has reminded taxpayers who have not yet registered for tax to do so as soon as possible. The deadline for the declaration and payment of income tax, tourist tax, gaming tax, tourist and environmental levy and car/motorcycle rental tax for January 2017 is February 15, 2017.
